The fourth edition of ROMA – The Road to Contemporary Art is returning - from May 6th through 8th 2011 - for the second time to the unique venue of Macro Testaccio, hosted in the space of over 8.000 square meters and articulated into three pavilions - two of MACRO Future and the Pelanda.
The Fair is hosting 76 Italian and foreign galleries in Main Section, Startup (which is reserved to 17 young galleries, born after 2006, presenting a maximum of three artists each and curated by Luca Cerizza) and Fuori misura (the third section, set up in the "open air" in the wide spaces outside the pavilions, which will present 17 between large-sized works and performances developed by both famous and emerging artists). This year's novelty within the Fair is Collectors’ choice, i.e. the section which will host 4 galleries invited to ROMA by the collectors who are members of the Committee (and who are kept anonymous for privacy reasons).

On May 14, 2011, the city of Rome will be celebrating Open Night at the Museums for the third consecutive year. Since 2005 this yearly event has reaped success throughout Europe; this year it will involve more than 3000 museums in 40 countries.

Stravaganti giornate a tema e speciali visite guidate per passare insieme le vacanze pasquali in modo divertente e avventuroso

Per il periodo pasquale il Museo di Zoologia ha organizzato stravaganti giornate a tema, curiosi laboratori e avventurose cacce al tesoro dedicate ai bambini dai 5 ai 12 anni.
Il 21, il 22 e il 26 aprile verrà attivato lo speciale campus “Una Pasqua da scienziato” in cui i ragazzi potranno indossare per un’intera giornata i panni dello stravagante Dr. Magma o dell’eccentrico Dr. Sauro, per sperimentare in prima persona il singolare lavoro del paleontologo, del vulcanologo, del naturalista o del chimico, attraverso personaggi insoliti e divertenti.
Lunedì 25 aprile, invece, alle ore 10.45; 12.00; 16.00 e 17.15 ci sarà l’evento “Una Pasquetta in Famiglia”. Una visita guidata per famiglie in cui adulti e bambini si immergeranno nelle sale espositive del Museo di Zoologia. Fra odori, versi e suoni, attraverso deserti e abissi marini, grandi e piccoli potranno condividere idee e punti di vista e divertirsi in questo emozionante viaggio nella biodiversità.
