“I bambini nel mondo, il mondo dei bambini”. Questo il tema su cui artisti disabili sono stati chiamati a confrontarsi per l’edizione 2006-2007 di “Abbasso il grigio”, manifestazione nata nel 1997 per iniziativa de “Gli Amici”, movimento della Comunità di Sant’Egidio, presente in diverse città italiane ed europee che coinvolge alcune migliaia di disabili con i loro familiari ed amici.

Dopo due anni di restauri grazie all’impegno dell’Amministrazione comunale i Mercati di Traiano riaprono al pubblico gli ambienti interni restaurati - nello specifico, gli edifici della Grande Aula e il Corpo Centrale - offrendo alla città il nuovo Museo dei Fori Imperiali di Roma, uno spazio unico al mondo, primo esempio di museo di architettura antica concepito in questo modo.

The event entitled Rossellini Ballad-singer, presented by the Istituto MetaCultura and the Rossellini Foundation, mingles an exhibition for voice and music with screenings of texts, images and of 10 shorts by Rossellini.

This event will consist in a dialogue between the sculptor Pietro Canonica’s Museum/Hoe and a number of contemporary artists coming from different creative environments (the worlds of music, the theatre and that of visual arts) who are provided with an opportunity to implement the idea of a museum as a historical location, moving with different aesthetics and techniques the intimate and lived-in interiors of Pietro Canonica’s museum/home also to the exterior.

MACRO joins in the Notte Bianca 2007 with the project entitled “History’s visionary aspects”.

Now in its fifth year, the White Night brings to the capital the cultures, sounds and traditions of the five continents, linked by the theme chosen for this year: “The World in a Night”.

Tra il 7 settembre e il 15 ottobre 2007 il grande pavimento di specchi creato dall’artista Alfredo Pirri riflette le rovine archeologiche per il nuovo progetto curato da Ludovico Pratesi.

Venti repliche tra l’8 luglio e il 5 agosto 2007 di una rappresentazione itinerante, sapiente fusione di spettacolo dal vivo, cultura, arte ed archeologia, per la regia di Roberto Marafante.
