Virgil’s Aeneid told and read by Vittorio Sermonti staged at the Capitol Museums from September 18th until October 19th. Aeneas returns to the place where one night, three thousand years ago, the guest of a poor king, he fell asleep, exhausted, on a sack filled with leaves.
The author and scholar Sermonti outlines the narrative arc of the Aeneid with a synthesis of poetic figures and historical emotions.
