Art at Play

The second edition of this event, whose aim is to introduce young people to art by making them play with the legendary Disney characters, will be held this year simultaneously not only in the Capitoline Museums, but also in the Capodimonte Museum in Naples and the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum in Milan.

Gioca l’arte is reserved for children aged 6 to 14, together with their parents, grandparents and primary or secondary school teachers.

The tours are devised as games involving the children in a theme route along which, accompanied by parents or teachers, they can follow an itinerary thanks to a personalised sign system and an voice guide with Mickey Mouse's voice.
A game-dèpliant is linked to the route as a visual medium in addition to the voice guide and a final test to check how much the children have learned.

The multimedia stations make it possible to create personal works of art thanks to the astonishing Disney Magic Artist three-dimensional special effects.

At the Art Attack stations the children are involved in recreating works of art and objects observed during their visit to the museum using simple materials such as paper, pasta, rice, sand...

The bizarre "Immaginarte" exhibition displays pictures by the Accademia Disney in Milan, where the fantasy world of Disney is expressed through a new interpretation of works by famous painters.

The event will be on line at the www.disney.it/giocalarte site where, thanks to the voice guide with Mickey Mouse's voice, it is possible to make a virtual visit of the Disney areas in the three museums and admire the Immaginarte paintings.
