Art at Play

Art at Play is an initiative aimed specifically at introducing children to the world of art.

Children visiting the Museum with their families or schools can have hands-on experience of the Museum, introduced by Disney characters in a child-friendly manner.

Art at Play offers:

Playtime thematic tours: the children (accompanied by parents or teachers} can follow the tour at ease thanks to a clearly-marked route and an audio-guide with the voices of their favourite Disney characters.
Each tour has its own "play-sheet", which acts as supporting material to the audio-guide and also as a final check to see what the children have learnt.
By handing in the completed play-sheet at the end of the tour, each child will receive a personalised illustrated puzzle.
Help desks: these will explain the idea to the children, hand out the audio-guides, and, at the end of the tour, will give out the prizes.
Multimedia workstations: children will be able to "become artists" and simulate a number of artistic techniques on the computer.
"Art Attack" positions: a Disney artist will create live works of art using a number of techniques.
"Immaginart" exhibition: selection of famous works "interpreted" by the best Disney artists, using the best-known characters.
